Reiki brochure excerpts

"Many ancient cultures embraced the belief that life energy flows through the body, deeply affecting our entire being. Current research strongly suggests that energy does extend throughout and beyond the physical body, and that disruptions or imbalances in its flow correlate to physical, mental and emotional illness. The healing art of Reiki (pronounced "RAY-key") addresses these imbalances to support your good health and well-being."

"Reiki can alleviate pain and stress, and promotes restful sleep, healing and relaxation. Relaxation in itself promotes a host of benefits for the mind and body including a heightened sense of well-being, release of muscle tension, and relief from anxiety and depression. In addition, relaxation has been shown to help restore immune function and improve circulation, enhancing healing throughout your body."

Reiki practitioners have frequently told us, “I need something that explains to people what Reiki is,” “People don’t understand Reiki,” and “I don’t know how to explain Reiki.”

As a trained Reiki practitioner, you have a foundation in the practice and have seen the healing benefits of it, perhaps many times over. But you may be frustrated in your desire to find people willing to try it. There are still so many people who’ve never even heard of it. Even people familiar with the word Reiki may have little idea of what it is and what benefits they could receive.

What do people want to know?

People unfamiliar with Reiki want to know:

1.“Will it help me feel better?”

2. “Do I have to take my clothes off?”

3. “Will I have to do anything special?”

4. ” Will the practitioner (you) act weird?”

5. “Will the setting feel strange?”

6. “Will I be sitting or lying in a comfortable position?”

Will Reiki help me?

Of course, people want to know that the practice will help them, especially in simple terms like these:

1. It will help them feel less pain and more physical comfort.

2. It will help them feel calmer and more emotionally balanced.

3. It will help reduce their stress and anxiety.

Speak to their concerns
However you draw people to the experience of Reiki, try to speak to people’s real concerns. If you want something to hand to people, use our Reiki brochure, or write your own materials. When you talk with people, listen well, and really attempt to answer their questions.

By the way, we are always interested in knowing what other marketing materials Reiki practitioners need. If you have an idea, please let us know here.
