We have done our best to create Business Card
designs you are guaranteed to love, and a system for ordering them that
is easy and will prevent potential problems and mistakes before they
occur. But because printing is a mechanical process, shipping is subject
to unforseen circumstances, and we are all
human (thank goodness),
there is no way to eliminate all problems from the system. Though we
hope you will never experience any of them, here are the problems we
can forsee and our joint responsibilities for dealing with them.
Your responsibility: proof and proof again!
When you purchase our business cards,
your completed design goes directly to
the printer. No one else will be reviewing it. You are responsible
for your final design choice, wording and spelling, type size and style,
typographical errors, punctuation ... anything you have entered online.
Expect some variation in color and trim.
Colors vary greatly across computer monitors and can never
exactly predict the final printed version of your card. In addition,
colors can vary slightly between one printing of your business card and
the next (and sometimes even within a job). This is true of any printing
process.
Due to the mechanical
process used in cutting your business cards, there can be slight differences
between jobs, and sometimes within a job, where the business card is
cut (the “trim” line).
We have included a safety margin on our designs to allow for these
variations. If your text has been cut off, please let us know right
away. We will reprint the job.
Cancelling an order
If for any reason you want to cancel an order
after you’ve paid
for it, we sometimes have a small window within which we can contact
our printer and stop your job. Call us the minute you realize you
need to cancel and we will do our best. Our printer may charge a cancellation
fee.
Returns and Refunds
Since every business card is unique
and has no re-sale value, all sales are final. If there is a printing
defect, we will reprint your order but you must let us know within
5 business days of receiving your order. Keep the products and packaging
because the printer or shipper may need to see them.
Shipping Problems
To expedite your order, we have our
printer ship your cards directly to you. Expect your cards to arrive
within 2-3 weeks once you have completed your order.
You are responsible for
giving a complete and correct street address. (Remember
those apartment or suite numbers! P.O. Boxes are not accepted) And you are responsible for letting us know if you haven’t
received your package within 3 weeks.
By two weeks after you place your order, we should be able to track
your package if you want a progress report. If it has not arrived in
three weeks, let us know right away. If there is a problem with your
shipment, we will find out what it is and do what it takes to make sure
you get your Business Cards.
