This course introduces the massage therapist to Thermal Palms, a unique handheld heat modality that can be easily incorporated into your massage practice. Doing Thermal Palms massage is much like doing hot stone massage. However, they are easier to use than hot stones and have some significant advantages which you'll find out about in this continuing education course. The course includes the benefits to the massage therapist and the benefits to the client, contraindications and the history of Thermal palms. You will receive an equipment and supplies list and instructions on how to set up and safely heat the Thermal Palms. Upon completion of the treatment protocol instruction included in this course the massage therapist will be able to perform three different Thermal Palm massages. The CEU takes the form of a virtual certificate that is e-mailed to the student, a link in the e-mail brings them to a printer friendly version of the certificate which lists all the required information including the students name, date of completion, how many CEU's the course was worth and the NCBTMB provider number.
