The mission of the Hospital-Based Massage Network (HBMN) is to contribute
to the integration of complementary health care into mainstream medicine
via directly supporting the massage and touch therapists who are
actively creating or pursuing this integration through their work with
the ill, the recovering, the elderly, and the dying in hospitals, medical
centers, and nursing homes. The HBMN believes this work is healing (making
whole) our medical system and helping patients heal more fully. |

Massage
therapists are helping to heal patients, staff and
the entire medical system by simply and profoundly
reminding people, through touch, of the place of
stillness and compassion within us all the
inner spark and connection with divinity from
which all healing flows. Laura Koch, HBMN Founder & Director |
