My refrigerator is central to my home life. It’s right next to the spot where I make my morning phone calls and go through my mail in the afternoon. I stick family pictures on it, take-out menus and, most importantly for this conversation, cards from everyone who has kneaded, punctured or dosed my body in the last 18 months. This is Natural Touch Marketing in action.

Here’s how Natural Touch Marketing works for me: when you send a postcard, I read it even if there is no handwriting on it at all. If there is a special offer, I read it twice. When I get a hand-addressed greeting card from you, I get downright giddy. If the card has a handwritten message, I treasure it. Someone in this day and age thinks I’m worth five minutes of effort and a first class stamp. The only other handwritten cards on the fridge are from my grammy.

All cards with a special or discount, an attractive picture or a nice, hand-written note go directly on my fridge. I put your cards up knowing that you are marketing to me, knowing that you would like me to make an appointment. But I don’t mind. It is not intrusive to get a thought from you in the mail. Why? It makes me feel better to see a daily reminder that I have wonderful support for my good health and well-being.

Here’s how Natural Touch Marketing works for you: Just by being yourself, just by naturally extending the care you give from your studio to my home, you become a major part of my kitchen décor. I know where to find your contact information. I know what new things are happening at your studio/clinic. I know I am important to you. And, this is the bit you should really pay attention to: I am reminded of you every day.
