Here’s some bits and pieces to finish out the month of June.

Websites from your peers (shared with permission):

AlternativeHealthPractice.com is a happy partnership; Dan is a writer, Tara is an ND. Together, they’ve created a positive, useful, heartening site for CAM practitioners. I recommend subscribing.

Prokinetics.co.uk has a very different look and feel to their site. It’s clean with a lot of white space. I’m not certain who their target audience is, but I’m willing to bet it’s urban/professional.

Donna’s site (DonnaKimmel.com) is warm, inviting and simple. It truly is just three pages and is a great example of a marriage between concision and personality. And you can turn the sound off if you want (yea!).

Blogs/Newsletters stumbled upon:

Krishna Everson writes good stuff. You can find her at MarketYourMassage.com. Go to the Marketing Tips page on her site and read through her archives. I like her attitude and style.

Mentioning Krishna, if you haven’t found the blog at Blog.Passionate.com.au you need to check it out. They have four therapists (Amy Roberts, Julie Onofrio, Krishna Everson and Catherine Doyle) addressing stuff you need to think about. All the authors have their own sites and businesses, too. You can link to them through this site. Yes, the site is based in Australia, but MT businesses there have grown by over 150% in the last several years so they must know something, eh?

Beth, at ReikiArtist.com, has a site that encompasses her many passions and aspects of her living. Her blog is more about how she incorporates reiki into her personal life than about how to build a reiki business.

Any others out there? Please send them in. I’m all about good examples.

All my best,
Eileen

Forecast: I’m leaving for our annual 4th of July sojourn to Montana. I may be able to make my regular entries, or … I might be doing battle with one of the three mountain lions sighted in the area this weekend.

Okay, I have to say that mountain lions creep me out. I’ve dealt with bears, moose, frenzied sled dogs, elk and martins (Don’t scoff at my martin encounter. I swear the miserable thing left claw marks on my ceiling.).

Lions chill my blood.

And I can’t escape the fact that everyone in our party can run faster than me.

And I’m the one holding the baby.

Maybe I’ll plead allergies and stay inside for a week.

:) Eileen
