Time again for the month’s round up of random things that have been sent or crossed my path. Remember, if you find anything worthwhile send it in so we can share.

Websites (sent in and discovered):

Natural-Life.ca is a Canadian directory of organic grocers, organic farms, natural health practitioners and organic restaurants near Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver. They have this blog (updated weekly) which features natural health articles from around the world. I spent a couple hours reading through it last week. Take a look.

Joan sent in a link to her site. I met her when she pointed out a site I love has readability and accessibility issues. (Well, yes it does, but it is so darn cool lookin’.) Joan refers to herself as a former geek with antique, curmudgeonly prejudices about web design (She was “there” in 1993). She graciously sent me a link with a list of web design sites that she likes. If you are building a site, or having one built, or writing for a site, check it out. It’s towards the bottom of the page.

My new hair guru has a good site; Healing Arts Beauty Temple. The writing is especially good from my point of view; she does a good job of telling you exactly what she is going to do, why she is doing it and how you will feel during and after. Sara-ann also manages to gently inject her personality into the text. Nice job, Sara-ann. If you’re in the mood, check out what she offers. I love the idea of the Creative Beauty Ritual on the Other Treats page.

Forums:

For those of you who haven’t checked out Bodywork Online, you should take a little time to browse through frequently. I, of course, am most interested in the Business section, particularly the Business Issues & Marketing Discussion and Professional Marketing Materials

For fun:

My sister sent me this link to ICanHasCheezburger.com. Normally I just don’t care. I don’t do cute. I am a cute curmudgeon. But before I knew it, I was on page 2 giggling at “I assembled my cat without instructions.” I didn’t find anything gross or “offensive” so you can view without wincing.

All my best,
