How We Got Here
A year ago I had an interesting talk with Sandra who got me thinking. She feels that perpetual discounts devalue massage therapists’ and bodyworkers’ profession.

Frankly, I thought Sandra was a few twinkles shy of a full glimmer. I loved those little $5 and $10 discounts. Getting a discount offer always made me book sooner or try a new therapist. But a couple days after talking to her, I realized she was right.

I stopped advocating little discounts and began working with you to find new ways to attract and keep clientele. So far, the best substitutes I’ve seen for discounts are an offer of time (”Extra 15 minutes on your session if you book by Wednesday!”) or value add-on’s (”Finish with a free peppermint foot rub!”).

What Is She Thinking?
You want the opportunity to show people how massage / bodywork can improve their lives. Right?
