We have a Facebook page and I’m inviting you to “Like” it. (Gosh, remember the Good Old Days when you could be a Fan?). Fad or not, insidious plot to take over our minds or not, Facebook serves a real purpose in our relationship with you. Here are the four big reasons.
1. You can talk to us
Way back in The Day, our website’s shopping cart was … primitive. When you wanted to order, it was a lot easier to call us. We talked. You learned what we were thinking about creating. You learned what new products were coming out. We learned what you needed from us. It was lovely.
2. We can talk to you
All sorts of good ideas go zinging through our heads every day. Stuff that could mean a lot to you or just provide something to mull over. Sometimes Diana or I come across a really great article that we want to share. Sometimes we get the same question over and over during the week; we can post it on Facebook so you can see what other therapists are asking about.
3. You can put your 2¢ in
We release new products regularly throughout the year. We used to talk to you about these products (See reason #1) as we were developing them. Because of your input, we were better able to produce something you needed. Now we can post them and you can have your say.
4. It’s a giant on-line think-tank
As of today, there are 460 “Likers” on our Facebook page. These are folks who understand that marketing their massage / bodywork practice is important. They are interested in all the advice and resources that they can get their hands on. And, while we qualify as a resource, it’s really our Likers who have a lot more day-to-day, in-the-trenches experience to offer. We never know where the conversation will take us. It’s spiffy.
All my best,
Eileen
