Down beneath all this text are three new business card designs we just produced. I’m all a-twitter because I am a paper junkie. I am; I get all goofy whenever we release new business card designs.
See, business cards are kind of a paper junkie’s … well, you know when your techno-geek friend gets a new phone app? It’s like that. Business cards are compact, say a lot about you, and feel good in your hand (and are so darn cute!). And, of course, a really basic, must-have practice marketing tool.
We’re itching (itching!) to design some more. But before we get going, we’d like to know what you think. Because it is all about you. We created our business cards — and keep creating them — because you asked for them. You get what you want, we get clear directions and everyone is happy.

I prefer cards with photos of nature and flowers… colorful with greens and violets and pinks……
spring collage is too ordinary, Da Vinci too presumptuous, and Spring Massage needs kinder hands. Back to the drawing boards!
The art of card #3, Spring massage, really bothers me. Does anyone give or want a massage where the pressure is so light the skin doesn’t move? This doesn’t look like a real massage is being given, just hands placed on a body.
I agree with marieluise.Da Vinci is mover used by plastic surgeons and not attractive and the other 2 are not at all creative.Look at Vista Prints.Dozens with much more pazzazzzzz!
Get more creative.More New Age perhaps.
Good Luck!!! I know you can do this!!!!
They’re really all good. Just Spring Massage seems to resonate with me. How about some Reiki business cards? And/or those of us who channel angels, guides, masters, etc??? That might be too narrow of a niche. I use your Reiki brochures and they’re VERY effective and I get a good response. Keep up the great stuff. Look forward to your messages.

Personally, I don’t like picture business cards because they seem to distract one from the message presented on the card. Maybe a small picture with muscle man moving to represent sports/orthopedic massage or a small colorful picture with hands doing a deep tissue massage in the corner of the card would be nice.
I really like the spring collage. The Divinci Hands to me seems too spiritual but many may like it for that very same reason. I agree with others about the the Spring Massage. What is that MT doing? All I think when I see that is what a horrible massage that would be. Those hands should be hovering over a piano instead. Good luck. Overall, nice work.
Fab. U. Lous. feedback, folks! Thank you!
A lot of food-for-thought for Kendra, Heather and the rest of us.
Some of you may remember the days when you had to call in your order. That’s when we would throw ideas by you. I’m actually enjoying using the blog for messing with ideas … but in a different way. So, what I’m saying is I appreciate EVERYONE taking the time to let us know what you’re thinking. We all benefit.
Keep ‘em coming!
I like Spring Collage, but would LOVE it if it were a pale blue instead of green. For some reason blues just radiate “calm” to me… The DaVinci doesn’t do much of anything for me. I don’t know, it just seems too…”medical”. I have to agree with others about Spring Massage. I sat here thinking the card would be better if the hands were in full contact with the client’s back. It does look like the hands would be better off on a piano or poised over a computer keyboard. You’re on the right track, just some fine tuning to go! I bet you’re going to come up with some wonderful and unique designs! I’d love to see some angels!!
I like the “DaVinci” hands. Technically, it is Michelangelo’s work, of God and Adam from the Sistine Chapel. I have a large poster of the hands hanging in my home. I enjoy looking at the balance of strength, vitality and emotion translated between these two hands. And I wonder, who is reaching to touch whom first?
DaVinci, Michelangelo…none of these works by Renaissance painters/sculptors, etc., should be thought of as too spiritual or too presumptuous or more in the realm of plastic surgery. Look at the business cards again. The “DaVinci” is an anatomy lesson. The work shows great promise. Perhaps something truly DaVinci, from one of his many folios of anatomy studies? As for the others, they seem very plain, lacking something… Sorry about that. But what I do not like, someone else may love. Thanks for letting me post.
I love all the work you and your staff do to assist us in our marketing efforts. Thank you for your new business card designs and all your hard work, but after a while they all start looking the same.
I would like to create my own business card using my logo or professional photo. Do you offer blank business cards, so I could design my own? Keep up the great work.
@Kimberly— DANG! Well, that’s mighty embarrassing. Thank you for the correction. And thank you for the reminder to stop and think. And … DANG!
I do not find the Classic Masters to be religious or presumptuous. Even when their themes were based on biblical themes (as they often were), the true masters highlighted the humanity of the moment. As you said, who is reaching to touch whom first?
As a couple people have said, the MICHELANGELO Hands have been used again and again. We created the card for two reasons: 1) Many of our customers asked for it and 2) It’s an image that resonates with potential clients. The fact that the image has been used for years doesn’t make it any less powerful to clients who are looking for healing.
@Blue Eyes — Thank you; we like our job. And yes, they do.
I’m sorry to say that we do not have a service to create a custom business card from the ground up for you. If you already have a logo and photo, then there are several on-line places that can meet your needs.
However I strongly, STRONGLY recommend that you find a local designer who knows something about creating effective AND attractive business cards.
Your card is a HUGE part of your first impression. The photo needs to be good, clear, and appropriately cropped. Your logo needs to be logical and crisp. Your text needs to be well-placed, well-written and legible.
An experienced designer should know all the rules and produce an amazing, effective card for you. Let us know what you do and how you like the results. Because I *would* like to know.
I am looking for more designs for Reiki practioners. I love the water drop design on your brochures and the dove on the busines cards. Perhaps another option would be available with matching brochures.
Hi Joy- Lots of our business cards are designed to be flexible enough to be used by anyone regardless of what their specialty is. We are considering doing a new Reiki brochure with a totally different look and I would love to know what images Reiki practitioners feel represent them (other than the rain drop). Thanks so much for your input! – Kendra, the graphic designer at NTM

I liked Spring Massage best. I would, however, love to see the hands making full contact with the client. I think this would feel both more comforting and more authentic. Just a thought.
I also liked Spring Collage quite a bit. It felt refreshing.
I really don’t care for any of them. They are a little too plain.
