Massage
therapy gift certificates let those who are familiar with your wonderful
services spread the word and offer their friends, loved ones or employees
an extraordinary gift at the same time. A small investment in an elegant
gift certificate for massage therapy, Reiki or Reflexology can result
in years of repeat visits from a new client.
The
gift certificates and brochures from Natural Touch Marketing have elevated
my business both in credibility and professionalism. People really respond
well to the quality and selection of gift certificates and are pleased
we offer such an attractive (and personalized) package for our services. —Kristi

Ever tuned into Laura Allen’s YouTube videos? Here’s one on an innovative way to advertise your practice by trading gift certificates.
Fabulous! Unless you live in Laura Allen’s neighborhood, chances are no one else is trading gift certificates for radio advertising.
Who else might advertise your business if you traded gift certificates?
Trade gift certificates with:
Your daily or weekly (or monthly) newspaper.
Local businesses like auto shops, real estate agencies, and furniture stores. If they let you advertise with a poster, brochures and business cards, they get a gift certificate or two. They can either use it for themselves, or save it to give to some of their best customers (or their disgruntled ones).
Make donations work for you.
Feel good about yourself while building good will (and reaching potential clients.) What non-profits do you support? The Kiwanis club? The PTO? A group raising money for a neighborhood playground?
Some therapists prefer donating gift certificates once in a while in lieu of giving discounts. (Consider that if someone can afford donating to a non-profit, they can probably afford to pay for massage.)
Here’s two tips to foster your business at the same time you boost a cause you believe in.
Even if you are giving away your services to support a favorite cause, always ask if your business name can be included in any publicity materials.
When donating, give a package for three sessions. That way, a person won’t simply come in for that one-time “ahhh…” experience. They will have the chance to taste the cumulative effects of your work. And you will have more of a chance to educate them in the benefits of what you do, and the self-care they can do in between sessions to support your work.
